Scenes From Our Weekend

This is our first official week of Summer!  School ended Friday and the kids are so excited.

Sterling on his last day of school Friday.  Looking so grown up.

We of course had to hit up the pool, since it was a half day.  I have the blouse version of this dress and loved it so much I just bought the dress.  It can be worn as a cover-up or dress.

Friday night I attended a fund raiser for the Ryan White foundation.  It was held at the Mitchell Gallery and I was seriously in love with all the art.

My friends I attended the event with – Tami, Erin, and Mary.  The attire was all white:)

I am loving my new earrings I wore.  They are lightweight and so pretty.  They come in 5 colors and I want them all!

Saturday morning I organized and purged toys, we have way too many and it was time to donate some.  This PJ set is super soft and under $30 I love the ruffles.  I am wearing a size medium.

PJ Set

Couscous salad for the win with grilled chicken for dinner Saturday night.

Paired with a happy hour spread of course.

We caught the most gorgeous sunset.   If you need white shorts, these are the best!  A great fit and not too short.

Sunday was a pool day:)  My kids are such water babies they would gladly hit up the pool everyday.

I’m curious, where do you donate toys? Goodwill and Salvation Army won’t take toys here. Thanks!

Do you have a recipe for refried beans, or do you just use a can?

I have a recipe- super easy :1 can refried beans, 1 can black beans, 1 can rotel. mix together. Pour in baking dish. Cover with a layer of taco sauce and shredded cheese and bake about 30 minutes!
