Life Lately

I wanted to share a few pictures from our Christmas and New Years.  We had an absolute wonderful holiday but it really flew by!  Beware for picture overload!

My parents always have the most beautiful tree.

Love this stripe cardigan. Now only $25!  Wore this several times while I was home!

The cousins.

My sweet niece Augusta.

We took Sterling ice skating for the first time.  He loved it until he fell- haha!

We always go to a party on Christmas Eve Eve. It is with lots of family friends and always a good time.

Outfit Details: Black Blouse | Leggings | Pumps | Purse | Necklaces

Ben came with us this year.

Snuggles before bed with the babes.

Christmas Eve, ready for Santa.

Christmas Morning.  The kids were so excited to see Santa.

Stocking time!

After Christmas Ben and I rented a cabin in Lake Lure for a few days.

Sweater (on sale) | Necklace | Jeans | Boots

We had never been to Lake Lure before and it was just beautiful!!  This was the view from our deck.

The view from our bedroom and den.  Our house had amazing views!!

We were lazy most of the time and just relaxed but we ventured into Main Street one afternoon to walk around.  We grabbed beers at River Watch Waterfront Bar.

They had the best fried pickles I have ever had.

This outfit has been on repeat a lot!  Wearing it above with different jeans.  I got the jacket for Christmas and love it.  The length is great and it is so soft.  I am wearing a size small.

Turtleneck | Patagonia Jacket | Infinity Scarf | Jeans | Booties

Lake Lure- so gorgeous.

I lived in these slippers and pullover during our trip.

Lunch with Frances Moon! Wearing this stripe sweater, under $50! Necklace is by Hyla Dewitt.

A better view of the sweater, wearing a size small.

New Years Eve we headed to our neighbors for a party.  This is the only pic I took, but we had a blast!  Lots of yummy nibbles.

I made asparagus wrapped with prosciutto.  You just wrap asparagus with prosciutto, drizzle with olive oil and salt and pepper.  Then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and bake at 350 degrees about 15 minutes.

New Year’s day we had a fun brunch with friends.

What I wore:  Sweater | hat is vintage similar | Jeans | Shoes | Necklace

Excited for an awesome 2018!!

Happy New Year!  xoxo
