What I Wore | Embroidered Dress + 5 Other Versatile Dresses for Fall

Sterling starts second grade today and I am in total denial.  I don’t know what it is about the new school year but I always get so emotional thinking about how fast time is flying by.  When we went to meet his teacher yesterday I got teary eyed,  he seemed so independent and most importantly excited.  Here’s to all you mamas with kids starting back school this week!  It is a bittersweet time!

Today I wanted to share a dress I recently purchased.  It is the perfect dress to wear now and into Fall.  It is light weight and has the prettiest embroidery.   It runs on the large side, I am wearing a size XS.  The hem of the dress is not uneven although for some reason it appears that way in some of these photos.  I paired it here with booties, but it would also be cute with gladiator sandals now and even over leggings into the Winter. the dress comes in several other color options too, but I loved the cream color.

Dress | Ring | Purse | Booties | Earrings

Dress is also available in more colors HERE, I especially love the royal blue.

These earrings are always on repeat.  Similar style here in blush.

I bought these Rag and Bone booties several years ago on sale and they are still a favorite.  I really want the black next, they would go with so many outfits.  Definitely size up 1/2 a size if you order as they run on the small side.

Here are 5 versatile dresses from Nordstrom (who always has the best dress selection)  to add to your closet for Fall.

CHAMBRAY SHIRTDRESS

This is great casual like pictured below with sneakers.  Would also be so cute with booties and a vest tossed on over it.

Ruffle Tee Shirt Dress

A tee shirt dress is always a good addition to any closet.  This one is a great price at $39 and I love the ruffle sleeve detail.  It also comes in a gorgeous blush color.

Button Front Dress

I adore the loose flirty style of this dress.  This is also comes in another pattern I love but you can’t go wrong with the navy.  Such a simple dress to toss on for any occasion and under $100.

Embroidered Dress

I can’t get enough embroidery these days.  I love the pop of red.

Off Shoulder Dress

I just can’t quit the off shoulder trend, still love it.  This one is a great price at $55 and I love the dark chambray and ruffle details.

This Kate Spade version is pricier but I love the color so much.

You can shop my outfit and 5 favorite dresses below.

Thanks to Nordstrom for partnering on this post.

I bought a black version of the Kate Spade orange dress on Asos for about $50 if you are looking for something similar at a cheaper price 🙂
