Scenes From Our Weekend

This weekend was a whirlwind but amazing!
The Rag and Bone show was everything I hoped it would be! The clothes were incredible, the drinks were delicious, and the company was divine.
The show was held at WestBrook Brewery in Mt Pleasant. It was such a cool location and the perfect spot for a fashion show. I will most definitely be headed back here for a wine and beer tasting soon.

I snapped a few pics of the models. I had a major crush on the girl in the red pants she was stunning. The fashion show was filled such bright fun colors.

Chassity and I hanging out pre-show. Don’t you just love her outfit? My girl has major style!

I have to admit I had never tried on Rag and Bone jeans before but now I am hooked. They fit fabulous. They sit higher up on your waist, have the perfect amount of stretch and really suck you in. I am going to stock up on their jeans.

My brother brought me a belated birthday gift, India Hicks An Eye For Design Coffee Table book. I have been wanting this book forever. The cover is so pretty and looks perfect on our table.

The next night we celebrated my sisters birthday. I stayed out til one and totally paid for it the next day!

On Sunday we headed to the beach, the weather has really perfect here lately!

I went on a run later (to sweat out all the booze I consumed) and found these amazing Vintage Bamboo pots on the side of the road. They are going to look perfect on our porch. Do ya’ll like them natural or would you paint them a fun color or a glossy white?

On Sunday night I enjoyed this Prosecco. Ladies this was seriously delicious. Go buy some asap.

We also cooked some Mexican Street Corn. We often eat this at Taco Boy and had always wanted to recreate it. It was so yummy! Get the Recipe Here. This will be made often in our house the flavors were incredible.

It was a perfect weekend, hope yours was too!

Loving your outfits!! You're the stylish one here!! And I would totally paint the pots a high gloss white! Or maybe a bright color. Great score!

  11. April 2, 2012 / 3:25 pm

Love all your photos! I especially love that shot of you and Chassity- two of my favorites!! You girls both look adorable and oh so stylish. 🙂

  12. April 2, 2012 / 6:39 pm

Love your look at the fashion show. Very fab!! There was a time that I would say paint those bamboo pots white or black. BUT I just came across an insane bamboo sofa and chair and don't know what to do. So, I am leaving it natural and I am totally diggin' it. I can always paint later if I get bored with it.

  13. I think Rag & Bone would be one of the *best* shows around to actually be at! And I have been completely crushing on the jeans you got! I really wanted them in the coral color, but *DANG* the yellow looks awesome! LOVE the bamboo pots and you know me, I'm always in for color (c:

  16. April 3, 2012 / 2:18 am

What a great weekend – love Rag and Bone and the yellow jeans are fabulous!! Definitely paint the pots a white lacquer.

I like the natural for the bamboo pots and I don't know if this would be possible, but I think it could be really cool if you could line them or somehow put other pots inside them that are a bold print or bright color–that way you would have the natural but pops of bright in the background. Does that make any sense, haha?
