Obsessions

KENNETH JAY LANE TURQUOISE STICK NECKLACE
I love this necklace in a major way. I picture pairing it with this bright orange dress I have or a black maxi dress. I think it would be so versatile and turquoise never goes out of style!

FIDDLE FIG TREE
I don’t have alot of greenery in our house. I will be the first to admit I am bad about keeping plants alive indoors, but a tree seems like it would be easier maintenance. I love the look of a Fiddle Fig Tree and the way the greenery brightens up a room.

JOIE MADERA SCRATCH DOT BLOUSE
I need this blouse, really thinking about biting the bullet and ordering it. It would look great with any pair of colored jeans or shorts. The black and white dot print would go with everything! A classic blouse I feel like I would never tire of!

CONFETTI SPRINKLED LINEN COCKTAIL NAPKINS

How awesome are these cocktail napkins? Perfect for an Outdoor Dinner Party. Best part is these are homemade made with linen napkins and gold paint. Design Mom sewed her own napkins but I would totally buy a pack of pre-made napkins (because I am lazy like that) and then go to town painting. You can check out how to make your own napkins HERE on Design Mom.

CONTEMPO PROSECCO
This is my latest addiction. It is light refreshing and affordable- $8.99 a bottle currently on special, normally retails for $11.99. Now that the weather is warm there is nothing I like more than a chilled glass of bubbly. I originally was drawn to this Prosecco because of the bottle/label (I do indeed judge wines by their covers) it had a simple, clean and modern look. I bought one bottle to try and loved it so much I went back and pretty much cleaned my grocery store out. I served it at Easter Playgroup last week and it was a hit. They also make a line of wines but I have yet to try them.

Love that necklace! I think I need it too!! I also kill all plants in my house. I try hard. But I just do not have a green thumb.
For spaghetti squash, I roast mine in the oven for 45-60mins until outside is easy to cut with a knife. Scrape out seeds, and then the squash. I melt butter, fresh garlic, and parsley together mix with the squash and top w/parmesan cheese. So good! Hope that helps

You should try Aperol in your Prosecco. It's one of my favs!

Ok so you are a super fashionista. I need the perfect dress to wear to a law review banquet. Got any ideas????? I am sure you have something up your sleeve!

Love the necklace! Also, as far as spaghetti squash goes…prepare yourself. Easiest preparation and cooking ever. Cut it in half. Wrap each side in seran wrap. Cook each piece (separately) in the microwave for 9 minutes. Voile. Trust me. Scrapes out so easily and it tastes perfect. We are having some tonight, in fact!

Agreed on the necklace. Its amaze. And love that blouse in a major way. I am obsessed with modern (not vintagey) black and white dots. More Dalmatian than polka dot. Would look adorable in so many ways. I wish you luck on the fig tree. They look awesome in pictures but I know I'd kill the poor thing in less than a day. I'm sure of it!

Love your obsessions, as always! That necklace is awesome. I like the way it hangs down a bit lower, too. Joie is one of my favorite brends(I swear we love the same lines of clothing)! They make one of my favorite blouses that I wore throughout this pregnancy. I say go for it… your pick would look adorable with the new green jeans.

I have a fiddle leave fig and I absolutely love it. Really easy to take care of. I think technically you are supposed to water it everyday but I probably water it once every other week and its been alive for over a year! DEfinitely recommend.

That blouse is major!! Love a cutesy loose blouse with a great print! I tend to kill every house plant that walks thru my door, but this tree sure does look like a charming option! Wonder if it could survive a week in my house??
